We’re looking for Neighbourhood Patient Champions!
Could this be you? We’re looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours a month to help patients who are registered at Alchester Medical Group and are struggling to keep up with technology and use a mobile phone, tablet or laptop. To be held regularly once a month, patients will be able to drop in with their device and get help, whilst having a cup of tea.
In the future, we’ll be looking to develop new groups to help improve patient wellbeing from walking and talking to making connections to reduce loneliness.
We’re looking for volunteers to join our Neighbourhood Patient Champions Team and launch our Digital Café in the Autumn. With training provided, it’s a great opportunity to meet other volunteers and really make a difference to patients who find technology hard to use.
