We're changing the way we manage patients' suspected Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
From Monday 27th February, 2023, we now ask patients who think they have a UTI to complete an patient contact form via this link and not bring a urine sample into the surgery. A patient contact form for a potential UTI can be submitted any day of the week (but not after 5pm on a Friday, or at a weekend before 5pm on a Sunday), and is not dependant on your GP's usual working day.
This will then be triaged by our Patient Co-Ordinator team and dealt with appropriately.
Please DO NOT bring a urine sample into the surgery for a suspected UTI unless you are asked to by a clinician - they will not be processed.
We will still accept sample that have been requested for diabetes or hypertension reviews, or those requested by a clinician.
If you are unable to complete a patient contact form, please contact the Patient Co-ordinator team.
