Dealing with depression, anxiety or stress

Caring for your mental health is an integral aspect of our daily life. Our mental health can have a significant impact on our lives, relationships, emotional and physical wellbeing. If you are experiencing symptoms of ill mental health such a depression, anxiety or stress at work, here are some resources available to kickstart your journey to a healthier mental state. In addition to speaking to your family, friends or your GP starting you on medication to help, here are some resources that may help improve your mental health.

 

Crisis Support

Call 999 or go to A&E now if:

  • someone's life is at risk - for example, they have seriously injured themselves or taken an overdose
  • you do not feel you can keep yourself or someone else safe

Find your nearest A&E

Get advice from 111 or ask for an urgent GP appointment if:

  • you need urgent help for your mental health

Get help from 111 online or call 111 and select the mental health option.
